    Revised Calendar for next year

Last night, the School Board approved a revised calendar for 2024-25. This ensures that students will not be in school on voting days and moved some professional development days to accommodate those dates.

The new calendar can be viewed here: 2024-25 Calendar

    NH Gives Starts Soon!

From the Hopkinton Public Schools Foundation: the Hopkinton Public Schools Foundation is participating again this year in NH Gives, the state's largest day of charitable giving. The Foundation's mission is to enhance community support for public education in Hopkinton, and it makes grants to support special projects in all three school buildings. Your donation through NH Gives will help sustain the Foundation into the future.

NH Gives runs from 5 PM on June 11 until 5 PM on June 12. Check out the Foundation's NH Gives page here: https://www.nhgives.org/organizations/hopkinton-public-schools-foundation. Thanks for your support!

Our Story...

Incorporated in 1765, the Town of Hopkinton was once the state capital and a popular stop on the passenger rail line between Boston and Montreal. The town was made up of three distinct entities: Hopkinton, mainly as a residential area; West Hopkinton, primarily the location for the town’s agricultural center; and Contoocook Village, the town’s business hub. To this day, the three entities of the town share the same zip code and school system.

Hopkinton and its business district of Contoocook Village offer small town ambiance through a blend of well preserved history and natural beauty. In addition to working farms and the oldest covered bridge railroad in the United States, both villages host a variety of eclectic shops and services.

GOT LUNCH! Hopkinton

Parents of Hopkinton school-age children: GOT LUNCH is available for families in our community who receive free or reduced-price lunch during the school year, but that is NOT a requirement for participation. The program is available weekends, school vacations, and during the summer and runs year-round. The motivation for offering this program is to fill nutritional gaps when school is not in session.

For additional information or to sign up, contact your school nurse or Alicia Presti, Human Service Coordinator for the town of Hopkinton at 603-746-8244.
